Master of Design (MD) :

Undergraduate Degree from any institute/university recognised by law in India or Diploma in UG Design from NIFT/NID.

Prospectus along with Application Form can be obtained from the selected branches of Axis & IDBI Bank across country on payment of Rs.250/- or from any of the NIFT centres by hand for Rs.250/- or by post enclosing a DD of Rs.350/- in favour of NIFT, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.

UPSC Railway Apprentice Exam 2010 on Dec 19

New Delhi: The Union Service Public Commission (UPSC) will be conducting the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination-2010 on December 19, 2010 for recruitment to the Special Class Apprentices in the Mechanical Department of Indian Railways. 

The examination will be held at various centers across the country. For details regarding Eligibility Conditions, the Syllabus and Scheme of the examination, Centres of Examination, Guidelines for filling up application form etc. aspirants must consult the Detailed Notice of the examination published in the Employment News/Rozgar Samachar dated August 28, 2010.

To be eligible for applying for the test, a candidate must not be less than 17 years and not more than 21 years on August 1, 2010. The upper age limit is relaxable for Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Other Backward Classes and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

A candidate must also have passed in the first or second division, the intermediate or an equivalent examination of a University or Board approved by the government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry, as subjects of the examination.

Physically, the candidate must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in Appendix-II of the Rules for the Special Class Railway Apprentices' Examination, 2010 published in the Gazette of India dated August 28, 2010.

Candidates, who wish to apply offline can apply in the Common Application Formdevised by the Commission for its examinations, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix-III of the Notice published in the Employment News dated August 28, 2010) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty only). 

Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination. In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated POs the candidate should contact the concerned Post Master or UPSC Forms Supply Monitoring Cell" over telephone or fax.

Candidates can also apply Online on the official UPSC website. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on website.

All offline applications must reach the "Controller of Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/speed Post or by courier, on or before the September 27, 2010. However, in respect of candidates residing abroad or in certain remote areas , the last date for receipt of applications by Post/Speed Post only is October 4, 2010.

Online Applications can be filled up September 20, 2010 till 11.59 P.M. after which the link will be disabled.

In case any clarification is required by candidates regarding their applications, candidature etc, candidates can contact UPSC Facilitation Counter in its campus in person or over telephone.

For Shastri: Prak-shastri/ Uttar Madhyama or +2/ Intermediate with Sanskrit or Equivalent Exam.

The application form and Prospectus can be obtained from either Headquarters of M.S.P. or the following Svadhyaya Kendras (Study Centres) in person on production of D.D. of Rs.500/- (For SC / ST/ PH Rs. 250/-) or through post by sending a D.D. for Rs. 550/- (For SC/ ST/ PH Rs. 300/-) drawn in favour of "Director, Mukta Svadhyayapeetham, New Delhi".

Name, Programme applied for and address should be written on the backside of the D.D. along with a request letter.

The Prospectus & Application Form can also be downloaded from Website (www.sanskrit.nic.in ) and have to attach a demand draft of Rs.500/- in favour of the"Director, Mukta Svadhyayapeetham, New Delhi" separately other than the Programme Fees. Duly filled application forms are to be submitted in any one of the study centres.

MPhil Clinical Psychology Examination – 2010

Applications are invited in prescribed proforma (given below and details available on the www.ihbas.delhigovt.nic.in for admission to M. Phil Clinical Psychology course for the session 2010-2012 to be conducted at Institute of Human Behaviours Allied Sciences (IHBAS).

Eligibility

Regular MA / MSc in Psychology/Applied Psychology/ Cognitive Science/ Clinical Psychology from recognized University with minimum 55% marks.

No of Seats: (a) 08 - UR, (b) 02 - SC, (c) 01 - ST, (d) 03 - OBC, (e) 01 - PH* (above 40% and less than 70% disability), (f) 02 - In-service Candidate, (g) 02 - Foreign Nationals.

*Note: In case of non availability of suitable PH candidates the seat will be filled up by unreserved candidate

 

Stipend

The selected candidates of UR, SC, ST, OBC and PH category will be considered for stipend @ Rs 5000/- pm No stipend will be paid to in-service candidates and candidates under Foreign National quota.

Tuition Fee

Tuition fee will be charged only from foreign nationals as per University of Delhi rules the foreign nationals are not subject to the Entrance Examination. They will be selected by a Committee constituted by University of Delhi, as per rules.

 

How to Apply

Application Fee: Rs 500/- for General, In-service and Foreign National candidates. For reserved candidates application fee will be Rs.300/- The application fee is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of Registrar, University of Delhi. It should be enclosed with the application. The other documents required to be enclosed with the application are: (a) 01 recent passport size photograph, (b) attested copies of mark sheet of degree certificate of the claimed qualification and (c) work experience. Application received without application fee or other aforesaid documents will be summarily rejected.

Osmania Univ | Entrance examination for Unani course

The Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences will conduct an entrance examination for admission into the Bachelors Degree course in Unani Medicine (2010-11) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on August 8 at the Osmania Medical College campus in Koti, Hyderabad.

The Registrar said in a press release on Tuesday that the last date for submission of applications for the entrance examination was July 30.

Candidates who have passed two-year Intermediate course examination (10+2) or any other equivalent examination recognised either by the Board of Intermediate Examination, A.P, or the Dr. N.T.R. University of Health Sciences, A.P. with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional subjects for Kamil-e-Tibo-Jarahat as main subject (Urdu medium) are eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

The proforma for the application will be available on the university website – http://ntruhs.ap.nic.in from July 21 to 29 only. The candidate should download the application form and the rules and regulations (3+19 pages) and duly fill the form in English in his or her own handwriting.

Attested copies of certificates and the demand draft (Rs. 600 for OC/BC and Rs. 400 for SC/ST candidates), drawn in favour of the Registrar payable at Vijayawada on any nationalised back should be sent either by post or handed over in person to The Principal, Government Nizamia Tibbi College, near Charminar, Hyderabad before 5 p.m. on the last date. Hall tickets for the entrance examination will be issued at the same college on August 5 and 6.
